On Sept 11th, prof. Лисенков А. Б., academician of Russian Academy of Natural Scineces and associate prof. Лиманцева О А from Moscow State mininguniversity visited Ansai Station, under the companionship of associate prof. Liu Xiuhua and others from Changan University. Senior engineer Jiangjun and engineer Wu RunJun of Ansai Station toured them around the Mountain Area Water and Carbon Flux System, Biological Soil Crust and Farmland Integrated Observation System., led them to inspect the effects of different fertilizer application and terrain factors on soil and water loss, experiments on the correlation between water and soil conservation and nutrient losses. They also companioned the guests to watch the weather observing system , artificial rainfall simulation plot and other equipments at Ansai Station. Later, they introduced the progress of Ansai Station onpersonel training and international exchange and cooperation. The guests highly praised the efforts made by Ansai Station and expressed their intentions for further exchange and cooperation. Prof. Лисенков А. Б. is an expert in eco-hydrogeology, and has in-depth study into the fields of impacts of climate change on hydrological process, water resource and the ecosystem, the influence of water and soil conservation and eco-environment development on regional hydrological conditions and water resources. He is also engaged in the study of hydro-ecology and water security.
