Prof. Eugene from the Institute of Plant Sciences, Israeli Agricultural Research Organization visited ISWC from August 3rd to August 13th.
Accompanied by research fellow Mr. Zheng Jimin, Prof. Eugene visited the Forrest Grass Ecological Laboratory and its Experiment Base, learned about the basic conditions and researches of the Laboratory, Yunwu Mount. Grassland Experiment Base and the Xianyang Forage Experimental Station. Prof. Eugene had a discussion with the graduate students about their research topics, experiment designs and investigation methods, and introduced them the research techniques current in the world.
Through ten days’ academic exchanges and seminars, the two sides reached an initial agreement on cooperative research and student exchanging program in such fields as weather change, rehabilitation of degraded grassland vegetation, and grassland animal husbandry.
