Researcher Chen Yunming, vice director of the Ansai Station companioned the visiting guests to tour the Microclimate Observation Station for creek areas, introduced the experiments on grass and shrub introductions, artificial rainfall in small areas, the monitoring of soil and water loss in hilly areas, cultivation practices on soil and water conservation districts, beneficial results of soil and water conservation on grasslands, experiments on farmland fertilization and CO2 flux, and showed them around the farmland comprehensive experiment plot. Later on, an informal discussion was held in Ansai station, and researcher Chen Yunming introduced the regional characteristics, its history, the study fields and tasks, infrastructure, the personnel composition, research progress, information on international exchange and cooperation of Ansai Station. The visiting guests highly praised the achievements made by Ansai Station, and exchanged ideas with the research staff of Ansai Station on arbor and shrub introduction, the monitoring of soil and water loss, soil environment quality, etc.
