On Oct. 13, a delegation group of 170 people , who came to attend LANDCON 1010（） and the 1st Council Meeting of WASWAC in Xi’an , toured ISWC of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Misnistry of Water Resources。

Under the accompaniment of Mr. Liu Guobin, director of ISWC, Mr. Zhang Xingchang and Mr. Mu Xingmin, deputy directors of ISWC, the delegation group visited the Rainfall Simulation Hall of State Key Laboratory of Soil Erosion and Dryland Farming on Loess Plateau, the Sci-tech exhibition hall and the History Pavilion Of ISWC , and exchanged opinions with related staff members of the ISWC on interested topics. The delegation group highly praised the research environment, facility conditions and the great sci-tech achievements of ISWC. Lots of the delegation group members praised that the ISWC plays an leading role in the field of soil and water conservation study in China, even in the whole world.

During their stay here, they also visited the Administration Committee of Yangling High-tech Demonstration Zone and Agricultural Sci-tech Exhibition Garden of the Northwest A&F University.
